TARGET-X is opening its doors for the last time

October 2 | 2025 | Aachen, Germany

TARGET-X and all consortium partners cordially invite you to the Final Event of the Target-X project in October 2025. Taking place at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen University on the Campus Melaten, this event marks the culmination of 3 years of innovation, collaboration, and progress within the project.

Join us as we present the final results of Target-X, including insights from the Open Calls and the advancements made across all trial sites. Get up close with cutting-edge demonstrators that showcase how 5G and 6G technologies are driving transformation across the manufacturing, energy, automotive, and construction sectors.

Experience live industry-related demos in Aachen, illustrating the full potential of next-generation connectivity at the intersection of communication technologies and key verticals.

Over the course of the project, partners from industry and research have conducted large-scale trials to accelerate the digital transformation of European industry. Key technologies such as localization, digital twinning, and sensor-network data fusion have been tested and validated using 5G and 6G solutions.

Funded by the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) under Horizon Europe, Target-X has contributed to strengthening Europe’s leadership in next-generation communication technologies. The Final Event offers a unique opportunity to celebrate this achievement and explore the future beyond.
