TARGET-X Energy Deep Dive: Energy Monitoring and Energy Consumption Awareness
This webinar focuses on the use case for monitoring and analytics, specifically in the context of deploying voltage, current, phase, and energy measurement devices at a trial site. The primary goal is to promote energy awareness by enhancing transparency and conducting measurements that allow for the assessment of the local grid’s condition.

Join us for this session, in which we will present the three-step process we followed to implement this use case. First, measurement devices were deployed at key points using an Edge Cloud Phasor Measurement Unit (edgePMU). In the second step, a measurement campaign was conducted, gathering valuable data. Finally, in the third step, the acquired data was analyzed to build a comprehensive database, laying the foundation for energy transparency analysis.
Join us in this webinar as we dive into the architecture, the deployment process, and the pilot sites involved in this project. Learn how these steps contribute to achieving energy transparency and improving local grid monitoring. Your speaker is Manuel Pitz, Research Associate, Institute for Automation of Complex Power Systems RWTH Aachen University, TARGET-X Energy WP Leader.
