TARGET-X at the EuCNC & 6G Summit 2025: Showcasing Results from Large-Scale Industrial Trials
From 3 to 6 June 2025, the TARGET-X project will participate in the EuCNC & 6G Summit in Poznań, Poland, contributing to a dedicated workshop organised under the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU). The workshop will bring together several flagship SNS projects to discuss real-world progress towards 6G across diverse vertical sectors.
TARGET-X will be represented by Janina Gauß, who will contribute to two sessions focused on the deployment of advanced network and platform solutions, as well as lessons learned from large-scale trials and experimentation in industrial environments.
The workshop sessions will explore how 5G-based technologies are being implemented in sectors such as energy, manufacturing, construction, and automotive, and how these experiences can inform the evolution towards 6G. Particular attention will be given to key performance indicators (KPIs), key value indicators (KVIs), and the relevance of these findings for early standardisation and future system requirements.
In addition to insights from the TARGET-X trials, the workshop will feature contributions from several leading SNS JU projects, including 6G-BRICKS (Kostas Ramantas, Iquadrat), 6G-SANDBOX (Pablo Herrera, UMA), FIDAL (David Artuñedo, Telefónica), Imagine-B5G (David Gomez-Barquero, iTEAM), TriasINet (Alessandro Trogolo, TIM), SUNRISE-6G (Christos Verikoukis, AthenaRC), and ENVELOPE (Konstantinos Katsaros, ICCS).
Participants can expect in-depth discussions on the technical and strategic aspects of industrial 5G/6G deployments, the evaluation of use cases through performance and value metrics, and the ongoing efforts to align with emerging standards and requirements for next-generation connectivity.
We look forward to sharing our findings and engaging with the broader research and innovation community at one of Europe’s leading events for 5G and 6G development.
