With an overview of the progress of the project, insights into the development of the projects from the first Open Call, TARGET-X gives you the opportunity to get very close to the innovative solutions for the implementation of 5G and 6G in industry and production.

Use the day to learn more about our trial sites with industry-related demos in Aachen. Experience innovative demonstrators that clearly show the potential of 5G technology at the interface between communication technology and the verticals manufacturing, energy, automotive, and construction.

In TARGET-X, partners from industry and research have set themselves the goal of accelerating the digital transformation of key industries through large-scale trials in various test environments. Using 5G and 6G technologies, functions such as localization, digital twinning and data fusion between sensors and networks are tested and evaluated in the various test environments and industries. The TARGET-X project is funded over 2.5 years by the “Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking” (SNS JU) within the framework of Horizon Europe. Its aim is to secure the industry’s leading role in Europe in 5G and 6G.
