METER-X: A 5G-Enabled Plug-In Power Metering Device for Construction Machinery

We are happy to introduce METER-X, a 5G-capable plug-in power meter that has been specially developed for outdoor use, for example on construction sites.

METER-X enhances operational efficiency by providing real-time power consumption data, enabling precise monitoring and optimization of construction equipment. This cutting-edge device demonstrates how 5G technology can contribute to smarter and more sustainable building practices.
The device and the conducted test are researched in collaboration with TARGET-X partners: the Institute for Automation of Complex Power Systems of the RWTH Aachen University and the Center Construction Robotics.
