Consortium Meeting in Barcelona
The second meeting of the TARGET-X consortium took place in Barcelona at the beginning of September, marking the next step in our collaborative journey towards innovation! Over the course of two days, all consortium partners from across Europe came together for a collaborative gathering at i2CAT in the university district of the Catalan capital.
Day One: Deep-Dive into the Work Packages
Our first day in Barcelona began with a warm welcome and a warm-up bingo. Our main program on this day? A deep dive into the work packages of our TARGET-X project, focusing on the progress of the use cases. Of course, we also discussed in detail the response to the first Open Call. The planning of the second Open Call and the outlook for the next months rounded off the day.
After the intensive work phase, an evening stroll through Barcelona’s gothic quarter and a joint dinner rounded off the day.
Day Two: Completing the Picture
Day two was all about completeness. We continued to work on the work packages and placed particular emphasis on finding synergies cross-border. Due to the fact that TARGET-X offers testbeds for the different verticals, it was possible to find common ground here and to benefit from each other’s experience.
Meeting our partners from various countries and companies in person greatly enhanced our communication, paving the way for improved collaboration in the future. The intercultural aspect enriched our perspectives, transcending European borders and fostering a dynamic environment.
At the end of the day, the next steps were clear for all partners, so that the cooperation with the third parties may begin next year.
