To present the results of the TARGET-X project, a closing event was held in Aachen for project partners and interested members of the public. Janina Gauß, the project manager, moderated a discussion on project learnings, the current gaps in 6G, and recommendations for future work. Aneta Gałązka from FundingBox shared the key highlights of the FSTP projects and Bart Mellaerts from Ericsson presented the innovative advancements of the TARGET-X network. In a keynote speech, Prof. Dr. Haris Gačanin, discussed the 6GEM research hub, dedicated to fostering open, efficient, and secure mobile communication systems. As a highlight, the participants had the opportunity to explore different stations at the 5G-Industry Campus Europe, gaining valuable insights into the practical applications of 5G and 6G technologies across multiple sectors. The event attracted 68 attendees.
